Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designations, dimensions, allowable deviations in dimensions, shape requirements, measurement of dimensions and shapes, and weight and numerical rounding of cold-rolled steel plates and strips.
This standard applies to cold-rolled wide strips with a rolling width of not less than 600 mm, longitudinally cut strips, and sheared steel plates (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and strips). Single cold-rolled steel plates can also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
