This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, technical requirements, and test methods for low-ambient-temperature air-source heat pumps (cooling water) units.
This standard applies to electric motor-driven, low-ambient-temperature air-source heat pumps (cooling water) units, low-ambient-temperature air-source heat pumps for heating, and low-temperature commercial or industrial heat pump water heaters for heating and similar purposes.
This standard does not apply to low-ambient-temperature multi-unit air-source air conditioning units and air-air type low-ambient-temperature air-source heat pump units.
