Scope

This standard specifies the determination method for trace impurity elements in high-purity niobium, and the elements to be determined are listed in Table 1.
This standard is applicable to the determination of trace impurity elements in high-purity niobium. Except for tantalum, molybdenum, and tungsten, the determination range for each element is 1.0 μg/kg to 5,000 μg/kg. The determination range for tantalum is 1.0 μg/kg to 300,000 μg/kg, and the determination range for molybdenum and tungsten is 1.0 μg/kg to 100,000 μg/kg.
