Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, quality forecast sheets, or contracts (or purchase orders) for ice copper (also known as copper matte).
This standard applies to intermediate products composed of cuprous sulfide and ferrous sulfide, with a copper content of between 15% and 70%, obtained through smelting, for use in pyrometallurgical copper refining.
