Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) content for bismuth trioxide.
This standard applies to bismuth trioxide produced from metallic bismuth by wet or pyrometallurgical methods. Bismuth trioxide products are mainly used in inorganic synthesis, catalysts, rubber vulcanization accelerators, pharmaceuticals, glass vulcanization accelerators, ceramic capacitors, piezoelectric ceramics, pressure-sensitive resistors, and other electronic components, as well as ceramic powder materials.
