Scope
This document describes the space plasma environment that generates the most severe potential differences on the surface of spacecraft, and how to use simulation programs to estimate the most severe potential differences on the surface of spacecraft. This document includes the temperature and density of plasmas in geostationary orbit (GEO), polar Earth orbit (PEO), and medium Earth orbit (MEO), but does not include the temperature and density of plasmas in low Earth orbit (LEO).
