Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terms, accounting boundaries, accounting methods, and data quality management related to the accounting and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions from humification composting projects of livestock and poultry manure. This standard applies to greenhouse gas emissions from humification composting technologies using livestock and poultry manure, mixed manure and aquaculture wastewater, or mixed manure and various additives (such as straw and bedding materials). Main technical content: The humification composting project of livestock and poultry manure adopts the principle of limiting mineralization of organic waste and efficient directional humification, and uses bio-enhanced humification composting technology. By using unique enhanced humification bacteria, a large amount of quinone substances can be rapidly generated in the early stage of composting, which can effectively make small-molecule substances oriented polymerization around them, efficiently synthesize humic acid, significantly avoid the loss of small-molecule mineralization, reduce the generation of bad odors and greenhouse gases, and increase the organic carbon content in compost products such as bio-organic fertilizers and bio-humic acid-based organic fertilizers.
