Scope

This standard specifies the types, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, inspection rules and test methods, as well as the requirements for marking, packaging and warranty period of explosion-proof electromagnetic brakes for lifting purposes of the YBZE and YBZSE series three-phase asynchronous motors. This standard applies to all explosion-proof electromagnetic brakes for lifting machinery power transmission (hereinafter referred to as motors). All series of motors derived from this series can be implemented in accordance with this standard. The explosion-proof performance of this series of motors complies with the provisions of GB 38362-2000 and is made in an explosion-proof type. The explosion-proof marks are ExdⅠ, ExdⅡAT4, ExdⅡBT4, ExdⅡCT4. They are respectively suitable for underground equipment in coal mines and Class IIA, Class IIB, Class IIC factories, and for places where flammable gases or vapors in the T1 to T4 groups can form explosive mixtures with air.
