GB/T 11049-2008 Burning behaviour of carpets—Tablet test at ambient temperature
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the surface combustion performance of carpets when exposed to a small fire source in a horizontal position under controlled laboratory conditions. This standard applies to carpets of various organizational structures and fiber components. This standard stipulates that the sample is in a horizontal position, and the test results are not applicable to the combustion performance of carpets used in other positions. This method is only used to evaluate the response of carpet materials or combined systems to heat and flames under controlled laboratory conditions, and cannot be used to evaluate or specify the flammability of carpets under actual fire conditions. In trade, according to the ISO 2859 sampling scheme, this method can be widely used as a satisfactory testing method in commodity acceptance testing.
