GB/T 37402-2019 Biomimetics—Biomimetic structural optimization
Basic Information
Scope
This standard outlines the functions and scope of bionic structural optimization methods. These methods address linear structural problems under static and fatigue loading conditions. All the methods described in this standard are illustrated with examples.
Based on naturally growing biological models and by using finite element method (FEM) optimization methods for technical components, computer-based bionic optimization tools include computer-aided optimization (CAO), soft zone removal (SKO), and computer-aided internal optimization (CAIO). The purpose of these methods is to reduce component weight or enhance component capabilities and extend component lifespan, thereby achieving optimized material application.
Additionally, this standard also describes a simpler and faster "stretched triangle method". The wide range of applications of bionic optimization methods, combined with their ease of understanding and use, enables users to implement component optimization at an early stage of the design process.
The purpose of this standard is to familiarize users with bionic optimization methods as effective tools for extending component lifespan, reducing component weight, and promoting the widespread use of these methods to support sustainable development.
This standard is intended not only for designers, developers, engineers, and technicians, but also for those who are entrusted with the task of designing and evaluating load-bearing structures.
