Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, steel slag treatment processes, dust collectors and general equipment, construction, installation and acceptance, operation and maintenance, safety, environmental protection, and protection for the dust removal system of steel slag treatment processes. This document is applicable to the design, construction, commissioning, and operation management of dust removal systems for primary steel slag treatment processes such as drum treatment, pool-type hot quenching, roller pressing, hot pouring, and water spraying in steel enterprises. It does not include the design, construction, commissioning, and operation management of dust removal systems for secondary steel slag treatment processes such as magnetic separation, screening, crushing, transfer, and storage.
