Scope

This standard applies to the environmental risk assessment of sudden accidents (excluding accidents caused by human sabotage and natural disasters) that may occur in construction projects involving the production, use, and storage (including the use of pipelines for transportation) of toxic, hazardous, and flammable and explosive dangerous substances. This standard does not apply to ecological risk assessments and environmental risk assessments of nuclear and radiation-related construction projects. For construction projects with specific technical requirements for environmental risk assessments in specific industries, the general principles stipulated in this standard apply. The environmental risk assessments in related planning-type environmental impact assessments can refer to this standard.
