Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, instruments and equipment, test conditions, sample preparation, and measurement procedures for determining the impact toughness and thermal impact toughness of superhard abrasives. This standard is applicable to the determination of the impact toughness of artificial diamonds with a particle size of 20/25 to 325/400 and the impact toughness of cubic boron nitride with a particle size of 30/40 to 325/400.
