Scope
This document applies to protective equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment") in low-voltage DC distribution systems with a rated voltage not exceeding 1,500 V DC. Equipment that complies with this document can detect and protect against single or composite faults in DC systems. This document does not apply to low-voltage switchgear and control equipment specified in GB/T 7251. However, it can be installed in low-voltage switchgear equipment that meets the above-mentioned standards, provided that the relevant usage requirements are met. This document specifies the basic performance and safety requirements of the equipment, as well as the relevant test items and test methods. These include: —— Definitions; —— Characteristics; —— Relevant information about the equipment; —— Conditions for normal use, installation, and transportation; —— Structural and performance requirements; —— Characteristics and performance requirements. This document can guide the design of related equipment and the preparation of relevant product documentation.
