Scope

This part of GB/T 33164 specifies the requirements for ordering, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of round steel and coiled steel used in automotive suspension systems, such as coil springs, torsion bars, and stabilizer rods. This part applies to hot-rolled round steel with a nominal diameter not exceeding 80 mm and hot-rolled coiled steel with a nominal diameter not exceeding 40 mm (hereinafter referred to as "steel").
