Scope
This section specifies the combustion-infrared absorption method for determining the carbon and sulfur content in high-frequency induction furnaces. This section is applicable to the determination of carbon and sulfur content in vanadium-aluminum alloys. The range of carbon determination (mass fraction): 0.005% to 0.500%, and the range of sulfur determination (mass fraction): 0.005% to 0.050%.
