Scope

This standard specifies the maximum allowable emission concentration limits for particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, mercury and its compounds, and carbon monoxide in boiler flue gas in Chengdu City. This standard applies to single-stage steam boilers with an output of 65t/h or less, hot water boilers with a capacity of more than 70KW, steam-water dual-use boilers of various capacities, hot air furnaces, and organic heat carrier boilers that burn coal, oil, gas, and biomass fuels. Boilers that use type coal, water-coal slurry, coal gangue, petroleum coke, oil shale, etc. shall refer to the emission control requirements for coal-fired boilers in this standard. Boilers that use heavy oil, residual oil, light diesel oil, alcohol-ether fuels (such as methanol, ethanol, dimethyl ether, etc.) and other liquid fuels shall refer to the emission control requirements for oil-fired boilers in this standard. Boilers that use blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, and other gaseous fuels shall refer to the emission control requirements for gas-fired boilers in this standard. This standard does not apply to boilers that use municipal solid waste, sludge, or hazardous waste as fuels. This standard applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from boilers in use in Chengdu City, as well as the environmental impact assessment of boiler construction projects, the design of environmental protection facilities, the acceptance of completed environmental protection facilities, the issuance of pollution discharge permits, and the management of air pollutant emissions after the boilers go into operation.
