Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements for the prefabrication and installation of pipe supports and hangers in the nuclear island of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This standard applies to the prefabrication and installation of pipe supports and hangers in the nuclear island of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, covering the entire process from the initial state of the materials upon arrival to the completion of installation. It includes general requirements for pipe supports and hangers in terms of materials, prefabrication (including factory manufacturing and on-site workshop manufacturing), installation, welding, inspection, as well as coating, packaging, transportation, and storage. The pipe supports and hangers prefabricated according to this standard do not include the manufacturing of functional parts such as dampers, spring boxes, constant hangers, and standard fasteners.
