Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terminology and definitions of the cultivation technology of medicinal and edible homologous japonica rice, the production site conditions, varieties, seedling cultivation, transplanting (throwing), plant protection, fertilizer and water management, disease and pest prevention and control, harvest and storage, as well as the use of the logo of the standardized evaluation and certification system for medicinal and edible homologous rice. This standard applies to the regions where medicinal and edible homologous japonica rice is cultivated. Main technical content: The production technology of medicinal and edible homologous japonica rice prohibits the use of genetically modified technology and any hormonal substances. According to the production safety control, it is divided into three levels: Level I (I) prohibits the application of any chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and only allows the application of biological fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers, as well as the use of non-chemical techniques to control diseases, pests, and weeds; Level II (II) only allows the application of biological fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers and the reduction of the use of low-toxic pesticides to control diseases, pests, and weeds; Level III (III) allows the use of mixed biological fertilizers, organic fertilizers, mineral fertilizers, and appropriate amounts of chemical fertilizers, and the use of green prevention and control techniques to control diseases, pests, and weeds.
