Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions of the cultivation technology of medicinal and edible homologous indica rice, the production site conditions, varieties, seedling cultivation, transplanting (sowing), plant protection, fertilizer and water management, disease and pest prevention and control, harvest and storage, as well as the use of the medicinal and edible homologous logo in traceability and certification. This standard applies to all regions where medicinal and edible homologous indica rice is cultivated in China. Main technical content: The production technology of medicinal and edible homologous indica rice is divided into three levels according to production safety control: - Level 1: Prohibits the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides (including synthetic pesticides and hormones), only allowing the use of bio-fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers, as well as the application of green prevention and control technologies for disease and pest prevention and control. - Level 2: Prohibits the use of pesticides (including synthetic pesticides and hormones), allowing the mixed application of bio-fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers, as well as appropriate amounts of chemical fertilizers, and the application of green prevention and control technologies for disease and pest prevention and control. - Level 3: Limits and controls the use of pesticides (including synthetic pesticides and hormones) within specific limits, allowing the mixed application of bio-fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers, as well as appropriate amounts of chemical fertilizers, and the application of green prevention and control technologies and limited chemical prevention and control technologies for disease and pest prevention and control.
