GB/T 7574-2008 Information processing—File structure and labeling of magnetic tapes for information interchange
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the file structure and labeling of tapes used for information exchange between users of information processing systems. This standard also specifies: — The structure of volumes and files; — The basic characteristics of blocks (which contain the records that make up files); — The record labels for files, file segments, and volumes that identify tapes; — Four nested exchange levels. In addition, this standard specifies the requirements for processes provided in information processing systems with the following purposes: to enable information to be exchanged between different systems that use record tapes as an exchange medium. To this end, for systems that intend to create or receive tape volumes that comply with this standard, this standard specifies the functions that these systems should provide.
