This standard clarifies the definition of the Manufacturing Execution System (hereinafter referred to as MES) in the integrated system of the entire manufacturing enterprise, the main functions of MES, the hierarchical division of the system, and the general functional architecture of MES, and provides a reference example of MES in actual enterprises.
This standard is applicable to guiding the development of MES software products, selection of MES systems, and integration with other systems. It can be used as a basic reference for enterprises to select or evaluate MES systems, implement systems, and integrate systems.
