Scope

This standard specifies the method of determining the phosphorus, aluminum, titanium, copper, manganese, and calcium contents in chromium iron using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). This standard is applicable to the determination of phosphorus, aluminum, titanium, copper, manganese, and calcium contents in chromium iron with a carbon content of less than 4%. The determination of the corresponding elements in silicon chromium alloys can also be carried out by referring to and implementing this standard.
