Scope
This document describes the method of determining the Secchi color of petroleum products using a Secchi colorimeter. This document is applicable to uncolored automotive gasoline, aviation gasoline, jet fuel, naphtha, kerosene, white oil, and petroleum wax, among other refined petroleum products. The color determination range is from Secchi color number -16 to Secchi color number +30.
