Scope
This standard applies to industrial vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles") defined in ISO 5053, which are powered by any power source and used in residential, commercial, light industrial, and industrial environments (see EN 500811:1992 and GB/T 17799.2—2003), as well as telescopic arm forklifts and their electrical/electronic systems.
This standard specifies:
—— Requirements and limits for electromagnetic emissions and immunity;
—— Test procedures and assessment criteria for vehicles and their electrical/electronic systems.
This standard does not apply to:
—— Vehicles used in electromagnetic environments other than those specified above;
—— Vehicles used on ordinary roads with a maximum speed exceeding 25 km/h;
—— Unmanned industrial vehicles and their systems;
—— Mutual interference between vehicle systems;
—— Interference issues with on-board wireless communication equipment;
—— Equipment connected to AC power and used only when the vehicle is not in motion (such as on-board chargers).
