Scope
This document specifies the methodological principles, instruments, working conditions, and identification steps for identifying cobalt-based (with cobalt as the main alloying element) high-temperature alloy grades using spectral analysis methods. This document is applicable to the identification of cobalt-based high-temperature alloy grades listed in Table A.1. For cobalt-based high-temperature alloy grades not listed in Table A.1, as long as the types of alloying elements and their contents (i.e., mass fractions) fall within the ranges defined by the measurement intensities of the corresponding elements in this section, they can be used for reference.
