Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, requirements and test methods, sampling and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of blending components for automotive ethanol gasoline. The products covered by this standard are suitable for use as blending components for GB 18351 automotive ethanol gasoline. Products that meet the technical requirements in Table 1 of this standard are suitable for blending automotive ethanol gasoline that meets the Stage II motor vehicle emission requirements in China, while products that meet the technical requirements in Table 2 of this standard are suitable for blending automotive ethanol gasoline that meets the Stage III motor vehicle emission requirements in China.
