Scope

This regulation applies to the first verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of non-self-indicating scales (hereinafter referred to as "scales") that meet the requirements of JJG 555-1996 "General Verification Regulations for Non-Automatic Scales" and are managed by the state in accordance with the law, with medium and ordinary accuracy levels.
Non-self-indicating scales are scales that rely entirely on human operation to achieve a balanced position. They mainly include various mechanical lever scales, such as mobile platform scales, table scales; fixed ground scales, mechanical hanging scales, etc.
