Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions of hydraulic shears for scrap metal, their structural components, model markings, and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, safety and protection, packaging, marking, and storage requirements. This document is applicable to heavy-duty gantry-type hydraulic shears with a shearing force of 6000kN to 20000kN, which are used for compressing and shearing scrap metal at room temperature.
