Scope
This standard specifies the requirements or methods for the preparation of heat pipe specimens used in heat transfer performance tests, as well as the testing devices and instruments, environmental conditions for the tests, and the calculation of test results. This standard applies to the heat transfer performance tests of various tubular gravity heat pipes, steam chamber heat pipes, tubular heat pipes with a core, loop heat pipes, and capillary pump loops. Other types of heat pipes can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
