Scope

This document applies to communication power systems placed at fixed outdoor locations, with an output power greater than 6kW, consisting of a 48V DC power supply or an AC uninterruptible power supply (UPS), batteries, distribution devices, temperature regulation devices, and cabinets. It does not apply to outdoor diesel generator sets, mobile power systems on vehicles and ships, or power systems that utilize energy from the natural environment for power generation.
