Scope

This standard specifies the classification and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates of solid welding wires and filler wires made of nickel and nickel alloys. This standard applies to solid welding wires and filler wires (hereinafter referred to as welding wires) made of nickel and nickel alloys used in welding processes such as gas-shielded metal arc welding, tungsten-inert gas arc welding, gas welding, and plasma arc welding.
