Scope

This standard applies to household microwave ovens and combination microwave ovens. This standard defines the characteristics of the basic performance of household microwave ovens that users are interested in and describes the standard methods for measuring these characteristics. Note 1: This standard does not cover: - Microwave ovens with a load diameter of less than 200 mm; - Safety requirements (see GB 4706.21 and IEC 60335-2-90 in the references). Note 2: This standard does not apply to ovens with only conventional heating methods.
