Scope

This document specifies the dimensions and allowable deviations of carbon electrodes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to carbon electrodes made from calcined petroleum coke, calcined anthracite, coal tar, etc. as the main raw materials, which are formed, calcined, and machined, and used as conductive materials in ferro-silicon furnaces and other industrial applications.
