Scope

This standard specifies the raw materials, structure, and process, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and transportation of hand-laminated glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester resin food containers (referred to as polyester fiberglass food containers).
This standard applies to containers, storage tanks, and cold storage units made of polyester fiberglass for holding food (such as meat, vegetables, aquatic products, and beverages). Polyester fiberglass food containers made by other molding methods can also be used as reference for implementation.
