Scope
This part of GB/T 30160 specifies the terminology for tongue needles. Tongue needles have a flat or round cross-section, a hook-shaped needle tip, and a movable needle tongue mounted on a fixed shaft at the front end of the needle tip. During the knitting process, the needle tongue can open or close the needle hook, relying on the action of the yarn.
