Scope
This part of GB/T 30160 specifies the terminology of hook needles. Hook needles are knitting machine parts, mainly composed of a circular or flat needle rod and a flexible needle hook. During the knitting process, the needle hook is closed by being pressed into the needle slot by an auxiliary component.
