Scope

This standard defines the basic terms related to fuzzy control devices and systems, fuzzy reasoning terms, and control terms. It sets forth general requirements for performance testing of fuzzy control units, and stipulates the basic performance testing methods and evaluation criteria for fuzzy control units. This standard applies to the development of fuzzy control devices and related standards, and to the preparation of corresponding technical documents for research, design, development, and production of systems and products in this field, as well as to trade, teaching, and other related work. It also applies to related products and accessories that use fuzzy logic-based control technology (hereinafter referred to as fuzzy control technology). Other work involving fuzzy control technology can also refer to and use this standard.
