Scope

This standard specifies the special provisions, regular inspections, and requirements for post-inspection work. This standard applies to the regular inspection of rechargeable welded insulated gas cylinders used in normal environmental temperatures (–40°C to 60°C) or the environmental temperatures specified in product standards, with storage media such as liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, liquid oxygen, nitrous oxide, liquid carbon dioxide, and liquefied natural gas, etc. The design temperature of these cylinders should not be lower than –196°C, with a nominal volume of 10 to 450 liters and an operating pressure of 0.2 to 3.5 MPa.
