Scope

This document specifies the calibration and inspection methods for tensile and/or compression testing machines. The inspection includes: -- a general check of the testing machine (including the accessories used to apply force); -- calibration of the testing machine's force measurement system; -- confirmation that the performance parameters of the testing machine have reached the required level.
