JJG 652-1990 Rotating Pure Bending Fatigue Testing Machines
JJG 652-1990 Rotating Pure Bending Fatigue Testing Machines
Basic Information
Scope
This procedure applies to the verification of newly manufactured, in-use, and repaired rotating pure bending fatigue testing machines (hereinafter referred to as "testing machines"). During the test, the standard specimen is horizontally clamped on the testing machine and subjected to four-point loading, so that it can withstand a certain bending moment, undergo pure bending, and rotate around its axis at a constant speed. The test continues until the specimen fails or reaches a predetermined number of stress cycles. Other types of rotating bending fatigue testing machines can be verified in accordance with this procedure.
