Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, energy consumption limit indicators, energy consumption statistical scope, and calculation methods for evaluating the energy consumption of paper and paperboard used in the packaging industry (excluding the production of virgin pulp). This standard applies to the calculation, control, and assessment of energy consumption in packaging paper and paperboard production enterprises, as well as the assessment of new enterprises and existing enterprises for the admission of new or expanded production lines.
