Scope
This standard applies to patch cables that serve as connectors between transmission equipment and transmission equipment, or between transmission equipment and wiring units, or between communication output terminals and user terminal equipment in digital communication. The structure of the patch cable conductors is a twisted copper conductor, and the nominal characteristic impedance of the patch cable is 100Ω, with a maximum transmission frequency of 1000MHz.
