Scope
This standard specifies the performance levels in the thickness direction of steel plates, the test methods, and the inspection rules. The performance level in the thickness direction is a measure of the steel plate's resistance to delamination. The performance in the thickness direction is evaluated using the sectional shrinkage rate of the tensile test in the thickness direction.
This standard applies to quenched steel plates with a thickness of 15 mm to 400 mm.
