Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of DC high-voltage stabilized power supplies for nuclear radiation detectors. This standard applies to DC high-voltage stabilized power supplies for indoor nuclear radiation detectors powered by AC or DC (hereinafter referred to as power supplies). Specific test methods for DC stabilized power supplies for nuclear instruments are described in Appendix A.
