Scope

This document stipulates the basic requirements and scope of application for the impact assessment of construction projects on the natural resources, natural ecosystems, and main protected objects of nature reserves (hereinafter referred to as "impact assessment"). This document applies to the impact assessment of non-prohibited construction projects in Sichuan Province in the fields of water conservancy, electric power, transportation, tourism, and energy transmission on forest ecosystems, grassland and meadow ecosystems, desert ecosystems, inland wetlands and aquatic ecosystems, wild animals, wild plants, geological relics, and paleontological relics in local-level nature reserves. The impact assessment of nature reserves such as forest parks, geological parks, wetland parks, World Natural Heritage sites, and World Natural and Cultural Heritage sites can be implemented with reference to this document.
