本标准规定了热塑性塑料球阀（以下简称球阀）的术语、定义和符号、材料、设计、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。本标准根据球阀材质不同，其使用温度范围为-40 ℃～+120 ℃。公称外径范围为dn16 mm～dn180 mm。公称压力范围为PN 0.6 MPa～PN 2.5 MPa。管系列范围为S2～S12.5。注：选购方有责任根据其特定应用需要，结合相关法规、标准或规范要求，恰当选用本产品。
