Scope

This standard is applicable to the quantitative analysis of in-use lubricating oils using an automatic four-in-one tester (atomic emission spectrometry, infrared spectrometry, viscosity, and laser particle counter). This standard is applicable to the analysis of in-use lubricating oils with an ISO viscosity grade range of 10 mm2/s to 320 mm2/s, and the measured oil properties should refer to Tables 1 and 2.
