Scope
This part of GB/T 19449 specifies the dimensions of the mounting holes for hollow tool handles with flange contact surfaces, which are applicable to machine tools (such as lathes and milling lathes). The dimensions of the corresponding hollow tool handles are specified in Part 3 of GB/T 19449.
The T-type mounting holes specified in this part are used for automatic tool changing and manual clamping. Manual clamping is achieved through the holes on the mounting holes and the holes on the handles.
The transmission of torque is accomplished through the key at the tail end of the conical handle and friction.
