GB/T 6324.9-2016 Test methods of organic chemical products—Part 9:Determination of chloride
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 6324 specifies the oxidative combustion microcoulometry and visual turbidity methods for the determination of chlorine in organic chemical products. The oxidative combustion microcoulometry specified in this part is applicable to the determination of chlorine content in liquid organic chemical products. The detection range is 0.5 mg/L to 50.0 mg/L. This method is not suitable for samples with sulfur and nitrogen contents greater than 0.1% (by mass fraction). If bromides, iodides, and inorganic chlorides are present in the sample, the measurement results will be biased higher. The visual turbidity method specified in this part is applicable to the determination of free chloride ion content in liquid and solid organic chemical products. The detection range is 0.0003% to 0.02% (3 mg/kg to 200 mg/kg).
